Cheese Scones
Delicious cheesy scone.

280 g | all-purpose/plain flour |
16 g | baking powder |
1/2 tsp | chilli powder |
120 g | grated tasty cheddar cheese |
20 g | grated parmesan cheese |
85 g | grated butter |
185 ml | cold milk |
Method
- Preheat oven and baking tray to 220C
- Mix dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl
- 280 g flour
- 16 g baking powder
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- Add grated butter, mix in with fingers
- Mix in grated cheeses
- 120 g tasty cheddar
- 20 g parmesan
- Mix in 185 ml cold milk with a knife, until it mostly holds together
- Turn out onto a floured bench and fold over 2-3 times and pat into a 2 inch high round
- Cut into 8 equal sized wedges
- Place onto the pre-headed tray
- Bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes
